Arizona’s governor Doug Ducey has proclaimed January 2019 “Manufactured Housing Month,” celebrating an industry that provides affordable homes that are safe, comfortable, durable, and quality built for approximately 366,000 households in Arizona.

According to manufactured housing industry statistics, Arizona families purchase over 1,800 new manufactured homes each year. Currently 1,115 businesses in the state directly support the manufactured housing industry, and four licensed manufacturers have built 2,656 new homes in fiscal year 2018.

“The Governor’s proclamation highlights the success of manufactured housing in our state, and the tremendous economic and quality-of-life impact it has on Arizona’s families,” said Ken Anderson, President of the Manufactured Housing Industry of Arizona.
