Governor Doug Ducey has proclaimed January 2018 “Manufactured Housing Month,” celebrating an industry that provides affordable homes that are safe, comfortable, durable, and quality built for approximately 314,000 families in the state of Arizona.

According to manufactured housing industry statistics, Arizona families purchased over 4,200 new and preowned manufactured homes last year. Over 2,500 businesses in the industry currently provide jobs to over 5,000 employees in the state.

“This proclamation highlights the success of manufactured housing in Arizona, and the economic and quality-of-life impact it has on Arizona’s families,” said Ken Anderson, President of the Manufactured Housing Industry of Arizona. MHIA is a Tempe, AZ based trade organization representing the state’s factory-built and manufactured housing industry.
